On the newly opened circular hiking trails, the "Traumpfade", you will discover the most beautiful landscapes on the Rhine, Moselle and Eifel. Let yourself be enchanted by the wide panoramic views over glowing grain and rape fields to the Eifel, Hunsrück and Moselle valleys.
In the romantic side valleys of the Moselle you will experience pure mill romanticism from bygone eras. On the banks of the Elzbach you will discover a fairytale journey back in time to the Middle Ages: the world-famous Eltz Castle and the magnificent Pyrmont Castle are among the most beautiful of their kind in all of Germany.
From our country house in front of Eltz Castle you can explore these treasures directly via the "Traumpfade" "Eltzer Burgpanorama" or "Pyrmonter Felsensteig" or "Hatzenporter Laysteig".
The well signposted paths offer narrow paths on springy soils, varied paths and spectacular views as day and half-day tours even for the inexperienced. The "Traumpfade" "seduce to hiking".

The castle bus
The leisure bus runs from Treis-Karden to the castles Pyrmont and Eltz via Münstermaifeld to Hatzenport on all weekends and holidays from May to October. Particularly charming "Traumpfade" are reached by bus and invite you to hike and discover. Information and the current timetable can be obtained from us at the hotel.
